Are these forms really free?
Yes. Every form linked here is published for free by a California state or county agency or a recognized nonprofit, and you download it straight from that official source. We never charge for the forms themselves. You only pay for the notarization when we meet.
Can I fill out the form before the notary arrives?
Yes, and you should. Have the document completely filled out before the notary arrives, because a notary cannot notarize a document that still has blank spaces in it. The one thing to leave undone is the signature: some notarizations require you to sign in front of the notary, so don't sign it until they are with you.
Do you help choose or fill out the right form?
We notarize signatures. We are notaries, not attorneys, so we cannot draft documents, choose a form for you, or give legal advice. If you are unsure which form fits your situation, consult a licensed California attorney before your appointment.
Do these forms work everywhere in California?
These are statewide California forms, so they are accepted across the state, including all six counties we serve. Some documents also have county-specific versions or extra filing steps, so check with the receiving agency or court if you are unsure.
What if I need a form that isn't listed here?
