Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do you travel to hospitals and care facilities?

Yes. Our notaries travel to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and rehabilitation centers throughout the Sacramento area. We understand the urgency and sensitivity of these situations and make the process as smooth as possible.

How quickly can you come out?

Same-day and rush appointments are often available throughout Sacramento and surrounding counties. The fastest way to check availability is to call or text us directly at (916) 222-2251. For non-urgent appointments, submit the form above and we'll confirm a time that works for you.

What should I bring to my notary appointment?

You'll need a valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID) and your unsigned documents. Do not sign your documents before the notary arrives. Some notarizations require your signature to be made in front of the notary.

Do you serve all of Sacramento County?

Yes, we serve all of Sacramento County as well as Placer, San Joaquin, Sutter, El Dorado, and Yolo Counties. See our service areas page for a full list of cities and communities we cover.

How much does a mobile notary cost?

Travel fees are $50 for standard locations and $65 for hospitals and care facilities, plus $15 per notarized signature (the California state-regulated maximum). Call or text (916) 222-2251 and we'll come to you. No hidden fees. We take cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App.

How can I pay?

We take cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App. You pay the notary at the appointment.

Can you notarize documents in a language other than English?

The document can be in any language. A notary verifies identity and witnesses signatures; we do not read or translate what you are signing. The signer is the part that matters: a California notary must be able to communicate with the signer directly, and the Secretary of State's handbook says an interpreter should not be used because vital information can be lost in translation. Our notaries work in English, so if the signer cannot communicate in English we have to decline and refer you to a notary who speaks their language.
